Bacillus cabrialesii is a recently described species (formally named in 2019) isolated from wheat in the Yaqui Valley of Mexico, with subsequent subspecies descriptions in 2023. Research on this organism focuses exclusively on plant science applications, including its characterization as a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium (a soil organism studied for its relationship to plant root development) and as a biological control candidate against fungal pathogens including Fusarium and Botrytis. Additional work has explored saline stress tolerance and biofertilizer formulation. No human health, probiotic, or animal model data were identified; B. cabrialesii is not a recognized probiotic organism and its research context is entirely agricultural. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
