Bifidobacterium breve CBT-BR3
Bifidobacterium breve CBT BR3 is a commercially developed probiotic strain that has been studied primarily in animal models. Preclinical research has examined this strain in relation to intestinal inflammation and goblet cell regeneration (goblet cells produce mucus that lines the gut wall), and has been explored in multi-strain formulas in rodent models of alcohol metabolism and skin hypersensitivity. A canine study examined this strain in combination with another probiotic strain in overweight dogs, in the context of weight management. Strain-specific human clinical trial data are not available in the published literature. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
