Lacticaseibacillus paracasei LPC-S01
Lacticaseibacillus paracasei LPC-S01 (DSM 26760) is a strain originally isolated from the vaginal microbiota. It has been studied in human randomized controlled trials examining vaginal microbiota composition following oral supplementation, and in the context of a gut-to-vaginal microbiota axis as a proposed route of action. Additional human RCTs have examined amino acid absorption from plant-based protein sources. Research in other areas, including immune modulation and metabolic health, is at an early stage.
