Lacticaseibacillus paracasei CASEI 431
Lacticaseibacillus paracasei Casei 431 (also known as Lactobacillus casei 431) is a well-characterized probiotic strain with a substantial food-science literature focused on its viability in fermented dairy products, encapsulation strategies, and behavior under simulated digestion. Human randomized controlled trials have explored its potential role in oral health as part of a multi-component caries-prevention regimen for children, and preliminary RCT evidence has examined its use in the context of postpartum depression, both areas requiring further investigation. Animal model research has examined body weight in high-fat diet models. The bulk of published research is in vitro and focused on food technology applications rather than clinical efficacy. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
