Lactobacillus sakei CJLS03
Lactobacillus sakei CJLS03 is a lactic acid bacterium originally isolated from kimchi, a traditional Korean fermented vegetable food. Multiple animal studies using high-fat diet-induced obesity models have examined CJLS03 supplementation in relation to body fat and obesity-related biomarkers, at varying doses. A small randomized controlled trial in Korean adults with obesity examined CJLS03 supplementation in relation to body fat, though the study size limits generalizability. Overall, the evidence base is early, with most mechanistic data from animal models, and no findings should be interpreted as establishing a weight-management benefit in human populations. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
Where it's been studied Tags come from a conservative keyword scan of each paper's title, abstract, and summary. A tag is research coverage, not measured effect. How we classify this →
