Limosilactobacillus reuteri JCM 1112
Limosilactobacillus reuteri JCM 1112 is a reference quality sequenced strain of a species widely distributed across mammalian guts, and its metabolic capabilities, including cobalamin (vitamin B12) and reuterin biosynthesis as well as nicotinamide mononucleotide production, have been characterized through whole genome analysis and in vitro studies. An animal study examined glucose metabolism in the context of chronic acrylamide exposure in rodents, including bile acid signaling and antioxidant pathways. Adhesion proteins such as mucus-binding proteins and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, associated with intestinal colonization in laboratory studies, have been structurally characterized. Strain-specific human clinical evidence for JCM 1112 is limited. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
Where it's been studied Tags come from a conservative keyword scan of each paper's title, abstract, and summary. A tag is research coverage, not measured effect. How we classify this →
Share of this strain's 8 body-system-tagged papers that concern each system. Research coverage, not measured effect.
Symptoms in the research A tag means the paper's text names the symptom or condition — research coverage, not evidence of benefit. How we classify this →
Share of this strain's 2 symptom-tagged papers that mention each symptom or condition. Research coverage, not evidence of benefit.
