Bifidobacterium infantis UABla-12
Bifidobacterium infantis UABla-12 (also designated B. lactis UABla-12) is a human-origin probiotic strain that has been evaluated in several randomized controlled trials, often in combination with Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1. These RCTs have examined gut comfort and stool regularity, including abdominal pain severity in adults with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in one trial and bowel habits in participants with functional constipation in another.
