Lacticaseibacillus paracasei DCRFF018 is an emerging probiotic strain with a very limited research record. The single available study, conducted in mice, examined associations between DCRFF018 supplementation and markers of alcoholic liver injury, including gut microbiota composition and intestinal barrier function in that animal model. These results are preliminary, based on a single animal experiment, and have not been replicated or extended to human clinical research.
