Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus LRa05
Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus LRa05 is an emerging probiotic strain with a growing evidence base spanning animal models and several randomized controlled trials. Human RCTs have examined gut microbiota composition, and early clinical trials have examined acute childhood diarrhea, Helicobacter pylori eradication as an adjunct, and metabolic parameters in individuals who consume alcohol. Animal model research has further explored immune modulation and intestinal barrier function, particularly in inflammatory colitis models. The evidence base for LRa05 is still developing; findings are preliminary and the strain should not be considered a treatment for any specific gastrointestinal or metabolic condition. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
