Lactobacillus gasseri CP2305
Lactobacillus gasseri CP2305 has a substantial body of human clinical research for a single probiotic strain, with multiple randomized controlled trials and a meta-analysis in the index. This research, including studies of heat-inactivated ('paraprobiotic') forms, has examined sleep quality, self-reported stress and fatigue, and bowel regularity as outcome measures. Irritable bowel syndrome symptoms have also been examined as a research topic. Evidence is predominantly from Japanese study populations, so generalizability to other groups warrants further study, and most outcomes reflect participant-reported measures rather than disease endpoints. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
Where it's been studied Tags come from a conservative keyword scan of each paper's title, abstract, and summary. A tag is research coverage, not measured effect. How we classify this →
Share of this strain's 20 body-system-tagged papers that concern each system. Research coverage, not measured effect.
Symptoms in the research A tag means the paper's text names the symptom or condition — research coverage, not evidence of benefit. How we classify this →
