Bacillus licheniformis
Bacillus licheniformis is a spore-forming bacterium studied in veterinary and aquaculture applications. Research has examined the strain in combination with other Bacillus species as a direct-fed microbial and feed additive in livestock and fish species including piglets, broiler chickens, tilapia, and dairy cattle. Studies have investigated effects on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, intestinal immunity, and microbiota composition. In vitro and characterization studies have explored enzymatic activities and metabolic properties relevant to feed applications.
Where it's been studied Tags come from a conservative keyword scan of each paper's title, abstract, and summary. A tag is research coverage, not measured effect. How we classify this →
Share of this strain's 855 body-system-tagged papers that concern each system. Research coverage, not measured effect.
Symptoms in the research A tag means the paper's text names the symptom or condition — research coverage, not evidence of benefit. How we classify this →
