Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690
Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690 has been studied across a range of outcomes with a mix of animal, in vitro, and human RCT evidence. Animal studies have examined the strain's relationship to intestinal barrier integrity, mucus production, and cytoprotective responses, and one study examined lifespan in a Caenorhabditis elegans oxidative-stress model. Multiple randomized controlled trials evaluated CNCM I-3690 as part of multi-strain fermented milk formulations, examining gut microbiota recovery after Helicobacter pylori antibiotic therapy and microbiome resilience. A separate human RCT examined subjective stress scores in healthy adults in connection with gut-brain axis activity. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
Where it's been studied Tags come from a conservative keyword scan of each paper's title, abstract, and summary. A tag is research coverage, not measured effect. How we classify this →
Share of this strain's 16 body-system-tagged papers that concern each system. Research coverage, not measured effect.
Symptoms in the research A tag means the paper's text names the symptom or condition — research coverage, not evidence of benefit. How we classify this →
