Limosilactobacillus reuteri RC-14
Limosilactobacillus reuteri RC-14 has been studied primarily in the context of urogenital and oral health, often in combination with its companion strain L. rhamnosus GR-1. Randomized controlled trials have examined oral supplementation in relation to vaginal flora and bacterial vaginosis outcomes across different populations, including a Chinese cohort study. Additional randomized controlled trials have explored the strain in children's dental health and as an adjunct in upper respiratory tract infection studies, and in vitro research has examined antimicrobial and anti-Candida activity. These are research topics, not findings; the papers do not establish that this strain treats or prevents any condition.
